Job Summary

Job Title:                Maintenance Market Lead

FLSA Status:         Salaried/Exempt

Reports To:          Maintenance/Facilities Manager


Responsible for organizing and coordinating general maintenance and grounds and housekeeping services in each store of their region; in an effort to ensure store standards and upkeep are being maintained. Oversee planning and preparation of work orders for work to be performed by the respective Maintenance departments to ensure the store is maintained in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner.

Job Description


  • Directly oversees Maintenance activity and programs of region stores to ensure a positive guest experience and team environment
  • Responsible for all daily maintenance and facility issues at stores within region via Verisae
  • Delegate maintenance and facility issues to an available Maintenance Tech I/II in region
  • Oversee small remodel projects
  • Communicates department priorities to Maintenance Technicians of the appropriate region
  • Ensures the Maintenance department operating procedures are known and followed
  • Receive all store emails and calls for maintenance, equipment, and facility issues
  • Monitor all alarms including refrigeration, power outages, emergencies, etc.
  • Manages labor to the needs of the business
  • Involved in interviewing and selecting qualified internal store Maintenance Technicians when needed
  • Leads, coaches, and reinforces Festival culture, customer service, and performance expectations to maintenance technicians
  • Develops Maintenance Technicians to take the next step in the company
  • Utilizes available coaching and evaluation tools
  • Contributes to overall cleanliness of the department by picking up, organizing, and cleaning as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Proficient in most areas of maintenance
  • Certification in specialized maintenance field preferred
  • 5+ years of education or related job experience in trades
  • Background in construction, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing preferred
  • Ability to operate power equipment
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
  • Good communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Organized, professional, resourceful, proactive, reliable, and have a strong attention to detail

  • The employee must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time; walk in the store; bend, stoop and kneel regularly
  • This position requires the employee have the ability to have full range of upper body motion in order to occasionally lift stock.  Requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time
  • Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, eye-hand-foot coordination and functional sensory abilities in order to operate equipment



The Maintenance Lead position is a full-time salaried position. The schedule will include weekdays, and occasional weekends. This will be an on call position for all off hours.

This position will include use of your own vehicle for travel and be compensated for mileage per company guidelines. The use of cell phone will also be compensated per company guidelines.
