What You’ll Do:
As a Guest Services Assistant Manager - PM at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include:
- Uphold Company Culture: Reinforce Festival Foods values throughout the store, ensuring an exceptional guest experience by leading the team during afternoon and evening shifts.
- Drive Guest Service Excellence: Set clear performance expectations, guiding associates to deliver outstanding customer service daily.
- Support Team Growth: Assist in the development and supervision of Guest Services associates, including facilitating Bagger training and fostering a productive, customer-focused environment.
- Optimize Operations: Oversee department productivity and labor, aligning staffing levels to meet business needs and achieve target goals.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance: Maintain loss prevention (asset protection) policies and enforce safety programs to create a secure work environment.
- Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
- Collaborate with the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
To succeed as a Festival Foods Guest Services Assistant Manager - PM, you should have:
- Relevant Experience: High school education or equivalent experience, with at least 1 year in grocery and 6 months in a leadership role like Customer Service Representative.
- Strong Decision-Making Skills: A solid understanding of customer service operations, with the ability to make timely and effective decisions.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates while managing a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills, with the capacity to lead, educate, and train others.
- Safety Awareness: A thorough understanding of all safety policies, with the ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and address safety hazards.

- The employee must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time; walk in the store; bend, stoop and kneel regularly.
- This position requires the employee have the ability to have full range of upper body motion in order to occasionally lift product. Requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time.
- Working conditions consist primarily of a temperature-controlled environment. The ability to work outside assisting guests, monitoring associates and conditions for short periods of time is necessary.
Work Schedule:
The Guest Services Assistant Manager - PM is a full-time, hourly position. The schedule typically includes afternoons and evenings (12pm-8pm), with availability required for 3-4 evenings per week, including weekends.
This role offers an opportunity to lead and grow within a dynamic team while providing excellent service to our guests during peak hours.
