Job Title:                Floral Clerk

As a Floral Clerk, you’ll play a key role in designing stunning floral displays, assisting guests with their flower needs, and ensuring the floral department runs smoothly. Whether you’re an experienced florist or looking to grow your skills as a floral designer, this role allows you to combine creativity with exceptional retail sales associate service.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

As a Floral Clerk at Festival Foods, you will:

  • Provide Helpful Service: Providing excellent guest service is at the heart of what we do.  Whether it’s a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you’ll handle each interaction with professionalism and care. Your willingness to help guests with what they need will make a positive impact every day. 
  • Design & Arrange: Create stunning floral bouquets and displays that enhance the shopping experience.
  • Maintain Quality: Keep flowers fresh and vibrant while managing inventory and reducing shrink.
  • Offer Assistance Help customers select flowers, take special orders, and craft custom arrangements.
  • Share Expertise: Provide friendly, knowledgeable retail sales support, answering questions and offering recommendations.
  • Ensure Accuracy & Organization: Maintain correct pricing and signage for all floral products. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing floral department.
  • Manage Inventory: Work closely with vendors to meet order timelines and keep shelves stocked.
  • Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
  • Support the Team: Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to create stunning floral arrangements that delight guests.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Organizational skills to track inventory, pricing, and department standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • The associate must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time; work in a cooler, walk in the store; bend, stoop and kneel regularly. 
  • The associate must have full range of upper body motion in order to lift product.  Requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must possess functional sensory abilities in order to visually monitor the store and create attractive displays.
  • The position requires the associate to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
