    Job Title:                 HR Data Specialist

    FLSA Status:            Hourly

    Reports To:             HRIS Manager

     

    Under the direction of the HRIS Manager, support a variety of administrative functions for Human Resources using the HRIS system to update and maintain associate records.

    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Urgently respond to HR requests and questions. Provides soft transfer to appropriate HR specialties as necessary (Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, and Training).
    • Update associate data into the HRIS system as communicated via HR Hotline.
    • Troubleshoot data discrepancies, questioning changes outside of guidelines and direct it to the appropriate manager (HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Organizational Development & Training and Talent Acquisition.)
    • Organize and maintain highly confidential files and reports.
    • Assists Human Resources in maintaining records compliance.
    • Prepare, gather and organize files for mass company communication mailings.
    • Reconcile benefit invoices and audit to ensure accurate and timely payment.
    • Assist associates with benefit questions and process benefit enrollments.
    • Assist Benefits Manager with annual open enrollment.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The physical demands and work environment described below are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    • The ability to use a computer for extended periods
    • Ability to communicate well via telephone, computer, and face-to-face with others
    • Basic use of office equipment such as copier and fax machines regularly

    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

    High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one year experience in an office setting.

    WORK SCHEDULE

    The HR Data Coordinator is an hourly position.
