    Job Title:                Café Associate at The Marq

    FLSA Status:          Hourly

    Reports To:           Cafeteria Manager


    The Café Associate’s main responsibility is to provide consistent, friendly, professional, and timely service of food and beverages in concessions. Along with maintaining the company’s standard for excellence, resulting in the overall success of events.


    Job Description


    • Take customer orders and serve food and beverages
    • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
    • Must be able to accurately exchange money including cash and credit purchases
    • Ability to keep composure and maintain service standards when dealing with guests complaints
    • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
    • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of concession area
    • Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures
    • Maintain clear and open communication between all staff members for overall success
    • Follow Health and Safety practices at all times
    • Understanding of all facility policies and practices as outlined in the associate handbook
    • Complete all other assigned duties when necessary
    • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences

    • Interact verbally with guests
    • Vision with or without the help of eyewear
    • Sense of hearing required
    • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills



    • Frequent walking and standing for extended periods of time
    • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
    • Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop frequently



    The Café Associate position is an hourly position.
