    Job Title:                Dishwasher at The Marq

    FLSA Status:          Hourly

    Reports To:           Kitchen Manager

     

    The Banquet Dishwasher’s main responsibility is to properly clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots. Responsible for maintain dish room and dish machine. Assists with cleaning other areas of the facility as requested.

    ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Can operate dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications
    • Uses proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine
    • Restocks all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
    • Removes all garbage
    • Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes the dish machine at the end of the shift
    • Keeps dish and other storage areas clean and organized
    • Reforms additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a Chef or Kitchen Manager at any time
    • Follow Health and Safety practices at all times
    • Understanding of all facility policies and practices as outlined in the associate handbook
    • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     • Must be able to see 20/20 vision with correction
    • Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
    • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Able to stand 100% of the time during a shift
    • Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water
    • The individual must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly
    • Bend, stoop, lift, and reach

    WORK SCHEDULE

    The dishwasher position is an hourly position scheduled mostly evenings and weekends. Must be available Friday and Saturday.
