POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for:
- Managing large and complex IT projects from inception through successful completion utilizing Festival’s Project Management Methodology or PMBOK Standards.
- Developing a master project plan that includes plans for scope, charter, change management, tasks, resources, finances, schedules, risks, issues, testing, data migration, training, implementation, communication, and technology adoption.
- Providing mentoring, consulting, and support project management practices to other Festival associates.
- Managing the performance and effectiveness of project team members including associates, vendors, and contractors.
- Sponsor satisfaction as it relates to project completion and project success criteria.
- Communicating to all stakeholders about project status, issues, changes, and decisions.

Reporting to the Food Protection and Regulatory Affairs Director, the Food Safety Manager is primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive food safety program that meets nationally recognized standards. The successful candidate will lead a team of food safety professionals, develop and manage the audit processes, provide guidance on corrective/preventive action plans, oversee utilization and effectiveness of established food safety systems, drive continuous improvement, and develop strong reporting mechanisms using company and industry standards, and promote company’s food safety culture by effectively affecting behavioral change.
